Kanji Kanban Japanese Sign #197-Plastic Shopping Bags

そのままでいいよ! マイバッグもっているよ!

Use the rikaichan popup dictionary or your favorite reference tool with my transcription below the photo if you need help reading this convenience store poster. The koalas are offering a couple of useful expressions to use when you don’t need a bag for your purchases when you go shopping.  Use the second one if you have your own bag.

レジ comes from the word register and refers to the cash register, so a レジ袋 is the bag they put your purchases in at the register.

The numbers below refer to the kanji I’ve transcribed below the photo, and correspond to their order of appearance in both Heisig’s Remembering the Kanji and Kanji in Context.
