Heisig (H964, H1009)

Kanji In Context(KIC416, KIC314)

*This two character compound refers to how these small bunches of flowers are used. They are placed in 仏壇 Buddhist altars in the home.

A Japanese friend in Kyoto told me about receiving these from some well meaning expats when they came over for dinner,  and I’m sure they weren’t the first or last to make that mistake!
